JCB India, a leading manufacturer of construction and earthmoving equipment, has recently introduced the JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master Tracked Excavator. The launch took place at the company's facility in Pune. This new machine is designed to cater to both the domestic market and international exports.
JCB newly launched excavator delivers 14% better fuel efficiency and a 5% boost in productivity It is basically aimed at reducing operating costs for customers. It comes equipped with advanced hydraulics, real-time fuel monitoring, and improved overall performance.
The increased fuel efficiency is driven by JCB’s Intelliflow Hydraulics technology, which optimizes hydraulic performance. Additionally, the excavator features real-time fuel consumption tracking via an onboard interface and JCB’s LiveLink remote monitoring system. This could lead to potential annual savings of ₹2.90 lakhs. An auto engine idle stop feature further helps to prevent fuel wastage during extended idle periods.
The new excavator also provides a 5% boost in productivity, making it more efficient for demanding tasks. It includes a Power Boost function for enhanced performance in challenging applications. A quieter engine compartment helps reduce operator fatigue, while the machine's design ensures strong performance in rock breaker applications. LED lights have been added to improve illumination and durability in low-light work environments.
At the launch event, Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, highlighted the NXT 215 LC Fuel Master’s role in enhancing customer profitability. He stated that the machine was specifically developed to achieve this goal.
By cutting fuel consumption by 14%, the machine offers improved returns in a highly competitive market. Shetty also pointed out that the machine's fuel-saving features aim to tackle the increasing fuel costs. These advancements leverage technology to lower overall fuel consumption. These improvements align with the government’s initiatives to minimize fossil fuel use, offering benefits to both the economy and the environment.
JCB India manufactures a wide range of excavators, from 1 tonne to 38 tonnes. So far, the company has manufactured more than 45,000 tracked excavators in India. They contribute to India's growing status as a global economic powerhouse.
