Hamm, a leader in compaction technology, has announced the launch of its new HC and HD Series models for the Indian market. These innovative models include the HD 99i, HD 109i, HC 119i, HC119i D, and HC 139i D. Designed to meet the latest CEV Stage V emission standards, they offer outstanding performance and sustainability.
The new HC Series models are advanced soil compactors that can operate in an efficient ECO Mode. This mode reduces fuel consumption by up to 20%. The models also feature automatic frequency adjustment to enhance compaction
quality.
These machines comply with the latest regulations regarding safety and comfort, such as vibrations, noise, rollover protection, and visibility. The compactors are equipped with a new drum that ensures high compaction power, reduced startup energy, and increased durability. The drum also consumes less oil and offers easy maintenance access. Additionally, it can be fitted with padfoot shells for improved performance.
These models also feature simple, language-neutral operation, a 3-point articulation for high-gradeability, and improved operator comfort. New for this series is the option to connect to the John Deere Operations Center, further enhancing the machines’ efficiency.
The HD Series, including the HD 99i and HD 109i, are designed as robust tandem rollers. These articulated double vibration rollers are ideal for road construction, offering high compaction power and operator comfort. They are perfect for projects such as inner-city work, highway compaction, and airport projects.
The rollers feature a drum width of 1.68 m, making them versatile for large-scale compaction tasks. The open frame design of the operator's platform offers clear visibility of the drums, water-sprinkling system, and drum edges, ensuring ease of operation.
These tandem rollers are powered by a fuel-efficient, water-cooled 3-cylinder John Deere engine, which complies with CEV-V emissions standards. The modern engine, combined with a large radiator and effective airflow system, reduces noise emissions and lowers fuel consumption. The three-point articulation system guarantees even weight distribution, excellent maneuverability in curves, and high overturning safety, all contributing to superior compaction results.
Both the HC and HD Series machines are fully homologated and manufactured in India. This ensures that they meet local regulations and specifications. Hamm’s commitment to innovation and sustainability positions these new models as ideal solutions for the evolving needs of the Indian construction industry.
