The global construction brands CNH, Case Construction Equipment and New Holland Construction have received the Good Design Awards. These awards highlight the excellence in product design and innovation with in the construction equipment industry.
With a history that dates back 75 years, the Good Design Awards have their roots. Organised by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd., these awards grant recognition to outstanding designs and innovations in respective sectors.
Case Construction Equipment was recognized for the 580EV electric backhoe loader. This beautiful machine, with its electric blue detailing, features a modern, sleek design with ergonomic controls. The cab is operator-focused and boasts an 8-inch touchscreen. The 580EV also has state-of-the-art safety features, such as strobe lights adjustable to increase the visibility of operators on the site.
The award-winning W40X Electric Power Compact Wheel Loader model is designed under a 'Clean Blue' concept featuring the New Holland leaf symbol. The W40X boasts its alternative propulsion advanced technology, symbolising the innovative spirit of sustainable solutions in New Holland construction equipment.
David Wilkie, head of industrial design, CNH also felt proud, stating that he believed the design team earned the recognition not only for those awards but particularly for creating these products like the CASE 580EV and New Holland W40X in the first place. Innovative styling speaks for a cutting-edge integration of technology incorporated into the new machines.
The Good Design Awards acknowledge and embrace the innovation and excellent design related to CNH. Case and New Holland models have achieved standards in the construction equipment market with their award-winning products.
