At bauma 2025, Wolffkran introduced a new wireless crane control system called WOLFF Intuitive Control. This new system makes crane operation much easier and safer by allowing the crane operator to move the load in the exact direction they want — without thinking about the crane’s angle or position.
Earlier, operating a crane through wireless control needed a lot of skill. Operators had to manage the slewing, trolley, and hoisting movements while also figuring out directions based on the crane’s position. But now, with WOLFF Intuitive Control, it works just like moving a joystick — when you push forward, the load also moves forward. This simple and smart movement is called Cartesian movement.
The new system includes a wearable and comfortable remote control. It allows hands-free use and lets the operator move around easily. Also, a WOLFF Cam display can be added to help the operator see the load clearly. However, this feature only works with wireless controls. The cabin controls stay the same.
WOLFF Intuitive Control is made by Wolffkran’s own team and is patent-pending. Unlike other similar systems, this one offers better accuracy and does not face calibration problems. It is available for new WOLFF cranes, older models, or as an upgrade to the WOLFF HiSPS system.
At bauma, visitors can even try it out through a VR simulation. This gives a real feel of controlling the crane from the ground.
Wolffkran’s launch brings a new level of control, safety, and ease to crane operation.
