TIL Limited, a leading company from Kolkata that makes material handling and infrastructure machines, has rolled out its 400th Hyster-TIL ReachStacker from its Kharagpur plant. This achievement marks an important moment in the company’s journey, which began producing ReachStackers in 2010.
At the start, the company made just three ReachStackers in the first year. However, from 2016 to 2019, it increased production to more than 50 units per year. Looking ahead, the company plans to make over 50 units again in the next financial year.
The 400th unit is the Hyster-TIL RS46-33 ReachStacker. It can lift up to 46 tons. In addition, this new model comes with an improved cabin that gives better visibility. It also has an IoT system for real-time monitoring, helping users keep track of performance easily.
Perhaps the most useful feature is the ECO-mode, which helps save fuel. This meets the needs of ports and logistics companies looking for machines that are both cost-friendly and good for the environment.
TIL has sent more than 40 ReachStackers to other countries, including Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
Founded in 1944, TIL Limited has been making equipment for many industries like construction, mining, and defence. The company runs two plants in Eastern India and keeps growing with new technology and strong quality checks.
