Expansion of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant

• Investment: ₹8,469 crore
• Location: Yamunanagar
• Scope: Foundation laid for a new 800 MW ultra-supercritical thermal unit
• Developer: Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd (HPGCL)
• Completion Timeline: 52 months, with commercial operations expected by March 2029
• Impact: Will raise Haryana’s total in-house generation capacity to 3,382 MW

Inauguration of Rewari Bypass under Bharatmala

• Investment: ₹1,069 crore
• Length: 14.4 km, four-lane configuration
• Execution Mode: Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM)
• Purpose: Decongest Rewari city, improve travel to Narnaul via NH-11
• Benefit: Expected to reduce travel time between Delhi and Narnaul by almost one hour

GOBARdhan Biogas Plant in Yamunanagar

• Investment: ₹90 crore
• Location: Mukarampur
• Collaborators: Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri and BPCL
• Timeline: Targeted for completion by May 2027
