Namo Bharat Train Set to Launch in Uttar Pradesh, Boosting Fast Travel 

Indian Railways is set to launch the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Gaya and Ayodhya, aiming to improve regional connectivity and reduce travel time. Covering a distance of 408 km, this service aligns with the government's goal to offer eco-friendly transport solutions.

Key Highlights of the New Service

• Schedule: The train will operate six days a week, excluding Sundays. Departures from Gaya are scheduled at 05:00 hrs, arriving in Ayodhya Dham by 11:00 hrs. The return journey departs Ayodhya Dham at 17:00 hrs, reaching Gaya by 23:00 hrs.
• Stops: Key stations along the route include Rafiganj, Sasaram, DD Upadhyaya Junction, Kashi, Varanasi Junction, Jaunpur Junction, Shahganj Junction, Akbarpur, and Goshainganj.
• Coaches: The train comprises 16 air-conditioned coaches, ensuring passenger comfort.
• Fare: The unreserved fare is expected to be approximately Rs 500, making it an affordable option for daily commuters and tourists.

Infrastructure and Environmental Impact

The introduction of the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is part of Indian Railways' broader efforts to modernise its fleet and promote sustainable transportation. The train's design incorporates energy-efficient features and is expected to operate at speeds up to 130 km/h, significantly reducing travel time between Gaya and Ayodhya.

By offering a faster and more efficient alternative to road transport, the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is expected to reduce reliance on trucks for short-distance travel, thereby contributing to lower carbon emissions.
