This new stretch will bridge the gap between the under-construction flyovers at Manewada and Mhalgi Nagar Squares, creating a single 2.80-km long elevated corridor. Krusha Gharde, executive engineer of the PWD’s World Bank division, confirmed the approval and upcoming construction steps. "We have received approval for ₹185 crore for the third flyover. The previous tender was cancelled, and a new one will be issued next week."
A local commuter shared concerns over current road conditions, stating, “One side of the road has been dug up, and barricades on the other side have narrowed the road, causing heavy traffic jams.”
