The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project is progressing at a steady pace, with substantial construction milestones achieved. As of February 27, 2025, 386 km of pier foundation and 272 km of viaduct have been completed out of the total 508 km. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, during his visit to Ahmedabad on March 1, expressed satisfaction with the advancements.
The 508-km corridor includes 352 km in Gujarat and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, while 156 km runs through Maharashtra. Structural work is completed for six of the eight stations in Gujarat, while construction continues on three elevated stations in Maharashtra. The base slab casting is currently underway at Mumbai station.
