Liebherr Presents High-Performance Timber Handling at LIGNA 2025

Liebherr has taken centre stage at LIGNA 2025 with its powerful timber handling machines and exciting demonstrations. Held from May 26 to 30 in Hanover, this global trade fair has become a hotspot for timber industry professionals.

Dynamic Machinery on Display

At its 475 m² outdoor stand (Corner 7, Stand L44), Liebherr is showcasing its latest timber equipment. Key models include the L 580 XPower wheel loader, the LH 26 M Timber Litronic, and the T 60-9s telescopic handler.

These machines are specially built for sawmills, timber yards, and forestry sites. They offer great efficiency, fuel savings, and advanced safety features.

Key Highlights from Liebherr’s Line-Up

The L 580 XPower offers high-tipping capacity and reduced fuel consumption. It balances strength and economy with its power-split travel drive.

“The machine ensures top safety,” said a company spokesperson. “It features person detection systems with visual and acoustic alerts.”

The LH 26 M Timber shines in tight spaces. Its wide undercarriage and rear support blade improve stability and performance.

“Our design is smart and stable,” noted a Liebherr engineer. “The support blade also helps clear obstacles safely.”

Versatile and Agile T 60-9s

The T 60-9s telescopic handler lifts six tonnes and reaches up to nine metres. Its all-wheel drive offers unmatched flexibility.

“Visibility and precision are standout features,” said a Liebherr specialist. “It handles big loads with ease and accuracy.”

Four daily shows by STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® athlete Florian Hägele wow the crowd with thrilling lumberjack skills and strength.
