India’s Growth Path in Construction Highlighted at Vibrant Buildcon 2025

India Moving Towards Global Leadership in Construction Sector

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal recently spoke at CAPEXIL’s Vibrant Buildcon 2025 event. During his speech, he asked industry leaders to focus more on sustainability and reduce the need to import construction materials. He also encouraged the use of clean, green, and earthquake-safe construction methods.

Major Projects and Government’s Role

The Minister praised the Government of India for boosting infrastructure growth. He gave examples like Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi convention centres, which were built during the pandemic. These centres even hosted big global events like the G20 Summit.

Building for the Future

In addition, Shri Goyal spoke about smart industrial cities, better tourism facilities, and ready-to-use industrial hubs. According to him, these projects are important for India to become a $30–35 trillion economy by 2047.

A Call for Innovation and Fair Wages

To end his speech, he spoke about the important role of farmers during the pandemic and the changes happening in the construction industry. He urged everyone to support innovation and fair wages to help India lead in growth and development
