Uttar Pradesh is all set to improve its connectivity with a major infrastructure project. The state government has announced the construction of a new 76-km expressway that will link Noida International Airport with the Ganga Expressway. Additionally, a new 240-km railway line will be developed to provide better transport options.
Uttar Pradesh, the fourth-largest state in the country, is undergoing rapid development. The upcoming Noida International Airport will be a game changer for Noida and Greater Noida residents. To further enhance transport facilities, the government has planned a link road connecting the airport to the Ganga Expressway. This will make travel smoother and improve road and rail connectivity in the state.
The new railway line will stretch across five districts, making travel more convenient for people in rural areas. At the same time, the 76-km link expressway will provide faster road access between Noida International Airport and the Ganga Expressway.
The new expressway will be around 76 km long and will pass through 57 villages. This means that thousands of people will benefit from better roads, making travel easier and more efficient. The estimated cost of this project is around Rs 4,415 crore.
Additionally, the expressway will connect Jewar, home to Noida International Airport, with the Ganga Expressway. This will improve access between Prayagraj and Noida, benefiting both residents and tourists.
The project requires around 1,000 hectares of land. The government will either acquire this land from farmers or purchase it directly. Reports suggest that once completed, this project will significantly enhance travel and trade opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
With these new developments, the state is set to become better connected, helping both businesses and daily commuters.
