FADA Reports 7,434 Construction Equipment Sales in October 2026

According to the latest data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), retail sales of construction equipment in India stood at 7,434 units in October 2026. This represents a 22.07% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 6,090 units sold in October 2025.

Brand-Wise Construction Equipment Sales Report for October 2026

JCB India Limited

JCB India retained its leadership position in the construction equipment market, selling 3,942 units in October 2026. Sales increased from 3,876 units in October 2025, resulting in a 1.70% YoY growth.

Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE)

ACE reported sales of 740 units in October 2026, up from 472 units a year earlier, marking a 56.78% YoY growth.

Escorts Kubota Limited (Construction Equipment)

Escorts Kubota sold 552 units during the month, compared to 330 units in October 2025, registering a 67.27% YoY increase.

AJAX Engineering Ltd

AJAX Engineering recorded sales of 372 units in October 2026, up from 286 units in October 2025. This translated into a 30.07% YoY growth.

Bull Machines Pvt Ltd

Bull Machines sold 286 units during the month, compared to 99 units in October 2025, marking a 188.89% YoY increase.

Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Pvt Ltd

Tata Hitachi recorded sales of 200 units, up from 142 units in October 2025, resulting in a 40.85% YoY growth.

Caterpillar India Private Limited

Caterpillar reported 155 units in October 2026, compared to 115 units in October 2025, reflecting a 34.78% YoY growth.

CASE New Holland Construction Equipment (India) Pvt Ltd

CASE India posted sales of 145 units in October 2026, up from 103 units in October 2025, reflecting a 40.78% YoY increase.

Doosan Bobcat India Pvt Ltd

Doosan Bobcat reported 108 units in October 2026, compared to 53 units in October 2025, reflecting a 103.77% YoY increase.

Indo Farm Equipment Limited

Indo Farm Equipment recorded sales of 91 units during the month, compared to 26 units in October 2025, marking a 250.00% YoY growth.

All Terrain Crane Segment

The All Terrain Crane segment reported 75 units in October 2026, down from 94 units a year earlier, registering a 20.21% YoY decline.

M/s Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited

Schwing Stetter recorded sales of 73 units, up from 43 units in October 2025, registering a 69.77% YoY increase.

Others

The “Others” category reported 695 units in October 2026, compared to 451 units in October 2025, reflecting a 54.10% YoY increase.
