FADA Reports 5,244 Construction Equipment Retail Sales in June 2026

According to the latest data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), retail sales of construction equipment in India stood at 5,244 units in June 2026. This represents a 40.94% year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to 8,879 units sold in June 2025.

JCB India Limited

JCB India retained its leadership position in the construction equipment market, selling 2,416 units in June 2026. Sales remained unchanged compared to 2,416 units sold in June 2025.

Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE)

ACE reported sales of 624 units in June 2026, down from 901 units a year earlier, marking a 30.74% YoY decline.

AJAX Engineering Ltd

AJAX Engineering recorded 413 units in June 2026, down from 660 units in June 2025. This translated into a 37.42% YoY decline.

Escorts Kubota Limited (Construction Equipment)

Escorts Kubota sold 380 units during the month, compared to 518 units last year, registering a 26.64% YoY decline.

Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Pvt Ltd

Tata Hitachi recorded sales of 169 units, down from 399 units last year, resulting in a 57.64% YoY decline.

Bull Machines Pvt Ltd

Bull Machines sold 163 units during the month, compared to 198 units in June 2025, marking a 17.68% YoY decline.

CASE New Holland Construction Equipment (India) Pvt Ltd

CASE India registered sales of 123 units in June 2026, down from 479 units in June 2025, reflecting a 74.32% YoY decline.

Caterpillar India Private Limited

Caterpillar reported 102 units in June 2026, down significantly from 259 units last year, reflecting a steep 60.62% YoY decline.

M/s Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited

Schwing Stetter recorded sales of 77 units, down from 258 units last year, registering a 70.16% YoY decline.

All Terrain Crane

All Terrain Crane witnessed a sharp slowdown, with sales falling to 62 units in June 2026 from 157 units a year ago, registering a 60.51% YoY decline.

LiuGong India Pvt. Ltd

LiuGong India sold 59 units during the month, compared to 477 units in June 2025, reflecting an 87.63% YoY decline.

Indo Farm Equipment Limited

Indo Farm Equipment recorded sales of 57 units in June 2026, down from 271 units in June 2025, registering a 78.97% YoY decline.

Doosan Bobcat India Pvt Ltd

Doosan Bobcat reported sales of 56 units during the month, compared to 135 units in June 2025, resulting in a 58.52% YoY decline.

Others

The "Others" category reported 543 units in June 2026, compared to 1,751 units in June 2025, reflecting a 68.99% YoY decline.
