Combilift has launched its latest machine – the COMBi-SPI Self-Propelled Inloader – at Bauma 2025. This new machine helps carry large and heavy items like precast concrete, wall panels, and glass A-frames. It is specially made for industries that need to move big and high-value materials safely and easily.
Combilift started working on this machine in April 2022. They worked closely with Spaansen, a company from the Netherlands that handles precast concrete. Their team helped Combilift make a better machine by sharing real-world needs. Over time, the COMBi-SPI turned into a fully electric machine. This required a fresh design to include electric wheel motors and swappable batteries inside its legs.
Josh Moffett, Heavy Equipment Manager at Combilift, said, “The COMBi-SPI is more than just a machine. It’s a new way to solve transport problems, made with help from the people who use it every day.”
In short, Combilift’s latest launch shows how the company is changing the way heavy loads are handled. It also highlights their focus on innovation, safety, and customer needs in the material-handling world.
