CNH has commenced production of its latest 2.8-litre TREM V-compliant engine at its Greater Noida facility. Initially designed for construction equipment meeting CEV V norms, the engine will later power agricultural machinery once the TREM V emission standards take effect. Localisation and Manufacturing Capabilities

• The Italy-developed F28 engine boasts 60% localisation, with 199 parts sourced domestically and 75 imported.
• CNH aims to increase localisation to 90% in a phased approach.
• The manufacturing plant, covering 7,000 square metres, is equipped with AI-driven systems, digital process management, and robotic cleaning technology.
• The facility has an annual production capacity of up to 20,000 units, catering to both domestic and export markets.

• Developed under a licensing agreement with FPT Industrial, the powertrain division of Iveco Group.
