Bihar's road infrastructure has received a significant boost with the completion of over 100 projects worth Rs 11,500 crore in the past year. Deputy Chief Minister and Road Construction Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha announced these developments, highlighting efforts to enhance connectivity and support economic growth across the state.
Completed and Ongoing Projects
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha emphasised the government's commitment to improving road infrastructure, stating, "During the 2024 monsoon, several bridges over 20 years old suffered damage. The new bridge maintenance policy will ensure continuous monitoring and timely interventions. We will implement this policy before the 2025 monsoon."
A senior government official added, “The approval of major road projects and increased budget allocation signal a transformative phase for Bihar’s road infrastructure. These developments will enhance connectivity and economic opportunities across the state.”
